Family Days Out

As the weather remains calm and we move to Spring and Summer (no doubt with a break for snow in February) I’ve been looking for family days out.

As it looks like Bumbles is no longer around, I’ve been keeping an eye out for other places to take the kids at the weekend.

The website daysoutwithkids has a nice entry on the Highlands, covering various places – certainly a decent starter to work with.

It also looks like there’s a Brewsters in Inverness – worth taking a look at, as the only other one I’ve been to is at Stirling and that was good as a place to stop and eat.

However, Bogbain Adventure and Heritage Farm looks like a potential gem – just south of Inverness, lots of activities for the children, a cafe, and folk music some weekends – definitely on my radar to check it out. :)
