A new property on the market in Inverness this week – Leys Castle, taking up the high ground just south of Milton of Leys at Inverness.

Boasting a mere 12 bedrooms, a similar number of cottages, and 3,145 acres, it comes with a price tag of just £7 million.

If you’re that way inclined. :)

I’m not sure whether it’s the financial climate, or the battle to put wind farms south of Inverness which may be prompting the sale.

Either way, no doubt it’ll be an in demand property, especially among those who missed out on Ackergill Tower last year.

    A vastly more liveable pile than frozen-to-the-bone Ackergill Tower.

    I wonder if a Texan with ancesters in Scotland woul be allowed there?
