Nairn on Bing Maps

I’ve been waiting for ages for Google Maps to finally update Nairn’s satellite images to high resolution – unfortunately, we’re still lagging behind Foress and Inverness on that front.

However, I noticed tonight Bing Maps (the Microsoft equivalant) has a pretty recent hi-res satellite image of the town – you can see the new Maggot flats half-completed so it must have been a pretty recent image.

Visit the Bing Maps page for Nairn, select “aerial”, and then explore the town from a perspective you probably never got to use before.
