Literally!

Bomb disposal team end blast drama

LIFE was getting back to normal today (Friday) for residents in the Merkinch area of the city after it was rocked by two explosions.

Two people received minor injuries when a container of detonators exploded in a yard in Thornbush Road next to Blackbridge Furnishings.

The first explosion occurred at 12.24pm and when people from neighbouring premises rushed to investigate, a second blast occurred, scattering detonators into adjoining houses.
