Highland Green Party – still very out of touch
Another idiot press release by the Green Party, showing how out of touch and ridiculous they have become in the Highlands.
There are plenty of real arguments about where the Highland Council may be failing to govern effectively, but proclaiming the refusal to add a special supermarket tax as one of these is just daft.
Perhaps one day the Greens in the Highlands will get some real leadership, as opposed to periodically syndicating useless, pointless, and irrelevant arguments to justify themselves.
Let’s have some serious thoughts, Greens, instead of empty posturing, thanks.

It looks like the Highland Green Party has become an irrelevant side show which is a bit of a pity. Nonetheless there is no shortage of Green campaigners in the Highlands willing to campaign for single issue groups.
All the press releases in the world aren’t worth anything if you have no real political roots in the community.
Just another thought on this, the Highland Greens are complaining that there’s no supermarket tax. Well how come Sainsbury’s are going to have to pay for road improvements, contribute to the Streetscape and also fund buses in the town. Fair enough most folk would say but isn’t this just another form of taxation?
Good point – how many new taxes do we want?
