When Zippos Circus came to town
We took the family to Zippo’s Circus on Wednesday for the afternoon, figuring it was one of those events that could be very memorable for the children – and we weren’t wrong, for all the right reasons!
Firstly, we’ve suddenly seen a string of events using the Nairn farmer’s showfield, which has to be positive for the town – for residents and tourists alike – and we weren’t going to ignore the opportunity.
Secondly, it was a truly entertaining and fun afternoon for all the family, and we all really enjoyed it – the clowns, the array of acrobats and gymnasts, performing budgies, horses, and generall good clean fun family entertainment that feels so rare these days.
When the children came home, dressed up in their leotards to play imaginary games of being performers in a circus, so an extra positive there.
Quite an expensive afternoon out when you have a large family and a few relatives visiting – but definitely worth seeing, and I’m sure will be well remembered.
