Hugh McBean’s First Class Walking Guide: Nairn

Many will probably have seen Hugh McBean’s walking video covering Nairn and Cawdor previously on the Gurn, but it’s definitely worth giving Hugh McBean’s walking video further attention:

When I set up MyNairn.com I had originall envisaged taking a number of videos of Nairn and its people and setting them up on the site – however, there’s a big step between having a good idea dn actually getting around to do it.

All the more reason for Hugh to be congratulated for being able to make time to actually get a decent quality video promoting the town online. :)

And as commented in the Gurn, in this 21st century media age, what are Visit Scotland doing with video to promote Highland towns online?

    Hi.

I will be visiting Cawdor Castle next week and after i leave i want to walk up to Nairn along the river route.

Is it easy to find from the Castle, and once next to the River, is it just a matter of following the river until i get to Nairn.

    Thankyou.

    John.
