Fake blog comments
Noticed lasted night that someone has been posting fake comments at the Gurn pretending to be me.
I normally sign comments with a:
- Brian
at the end.
However, someone else has been doing so, usually to post something intended to read as unpopular.
It’s pretty sad, really, that in the world we live and all the problems that it has, that there is at least one individual in Nairn who can do nothing but turn all their creative energies into trying to defame another local resident.
I run a number of online communities in different areas and come across some very extreme people – people with real agendas and twisted causes to fight, usually relating to politics and religion.
So, it’s bizarre to find someone running a sustained local campaign of personal attacks.
I’m not going to invest energy in trying to determine why – I don’t demand people like me, and I accept that different people can have very different opinions.
But these personal attacks? A silly waste of energy.
Anyway, I’ve emailed Graisg at the Gurn, pointing out the more recent fake comments and asking if he can remove them.
UPDATE: Thanks, Graisg – now removed.
