Arts expand in Nairn: special needs drama group and Cinema Nairn programme

The arts are continuing to expand in Nairn – the Tilda Swinton effect, perhaps? :)

Anyway, a couple of announcements coming up today:

New drama group for special needs

A new drama group is being set up in Nairn to provide an opportunity for those with special needs to put on a performance, pencilled in for May 4th.

The group is connected to Eden Court but is still looking for volunteers to help.

The group will meet at the British Legion Highland Hall, 3 Cawdor Street, Nairn starting at 7.00pm to 9.00pm – supporters are welcome too.

Cinema Nairn: 2010 showings

Bolstered by the recent successes at the community centre, Cinema Nairn has release a programme for 2010.

It starts on 20th Feb with Cinema Paradiso and has a range of interesting films dated through to July, with more to be announced for the second half of the year.
