Tesco out of bags!

Just been to the big Tesco at the Inverness Retail Park on our side of Inverness.
I had my re-usable bags with me – remembered this time – but a woman on the checkout next to me was less than impressed when she was told the store had none.
Apparently, the powers that be in Tesco had decided an allocation of 1.5 disposable carrier bags per customer – and they’ve all already gone.
So if you’re on your way to Tesco any time soon, you might want to ensure you’ve got plenty of re-usable bags with you.

It took me such a long time to get used to taking my own bags each time. It is easier for someone who takes a handbag to stuff a few reusable carriers in I think. It try to keep some in car but it doesn’t always work.
I know what you mean, Cathy – previous couple of weeks I forgot to take them to Morrisons – the bags still stood by the front door.
I try and keep them in the car otherwise, but sincerely glad I wasn’t caught out at Tesco, and really hope I might have helped one or more people in Nairn from a little extra stress if they had gone shopping there.
