Mobile roadworks warning
The mobile roadworks have now made their way closer towards the town centre, causing a lot of disruption.
Now stationed near the old community centre, it’s causing a lot of problems for any traffic trying to move around west Nairn.
All traffic coming out from the town centre, Somerfield, or from the Cawdor road needs to be aware they are being pressed straight into the traffic jams the road works are already causing along the A96.
Tailbacks have also been developing across east Nairn, making exit from Lochloy Road more challenging.
If you can avoid driving towards west Nairn, it’s probably best to avoid doing so at present while the roadworks are still in play.
