Bank Holiday?

Today is apparently a Bank Holiday – the Scottish Government’s website clearly lists 25th May 2009 as a statutory Bank Holiday.

So how come Scotland is going to work as normal today?

I’m sure one day you will get used to living in Scotland Brian! :)

Scotland has adopted many English holidays but still holds onto many local dates as well.

The end result is that some English holidays although adopted by Scotland are not fully observed

The only Scottish holiday that I know of to be exported to England is that of New Year!
