The BBC reports that a man from Inverness is currently under quarantine after developing Swine Flu:

A man from Inverness has spoken of being tested for swine flu after falling unwell on a flight home from his honeymoon in the US.

Journalist Houston Brown, 49, had been in Las Vegas to get married.

He is now quarantined at his home awaiting results of tests taken by his doctor.

So far Swine Flu appears to be showing similar problems to seasonal flu, rather than anything dramatically more deadly.

However, there have been notes of caution from agencies that this new variant could yet develop further into a more deadly variety.

Still, nothing apparently to worry about for the time being.

And still nothing apparently being done to address intensive farming issues that serve as a centre for the development and spread of new disease variants.
