Any places to eat out with good veggie food?
One of the frustrating things about being vegetarian is that most places only seem to offer a token veggie option, usually a pasta, mushroom stroganoff, or lasagne.
We’d like to take someone out for a meal next weekend, and it would be great if we could find somewhere that does really good food, preferably with good vegetarian options.
Location doesn’t matter so much – anywhere between Nairn and Fochabers is fine.
Ideally the place will also source their food locally and avoid pre-packaged stuff.
Question is, does anyone have any specific recommendations?

Boath House at Auldearn which now has a Michelin star is the nearest that I know of.
Don and Wendy are always very happy (With warning) to offer excellent vegan fair so I’m sure they could cope with vegetarians.
They grow some of their food and Charlie the chef used to be vegetarian.
There are plenty of fine places to eat if you look and ask!
