Inverness Christmas islands show vandalised

Didn’t even know this was on – and now I’m aware of it, no chance of being able to take the kids to see it:

Christmas islands show vandalised

A festive lights display on islands on the River Ness near Inverness city centre has been damaged by vandals.

Highland Council said more than 10,000 people visited the Ness Islands Lights over the weekend.

It was to run over the festive period, but the damage caused has forced organisers to cancel the show.

Anyone get to see it while it was on?

In the meantime, perhaps the Highland Council might consider … some form of security arrangement for next year?
