A case we might see more of in the coming weeks: No bail for boiling water assault charge man

Raimond Morganti was remanded in custody after appearing in private at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday.

The 42-year-old, of King Street, Nairn, was committed for further examination after he made no plea or declaration to four charges relating to incidents at a house in the Boathpark area of Nairn in the early hours of Saturday.

Morganti’s application for bail was refused by Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood.

The guy is a nutter he deserves to be locked up for a very long time.
We all know he is just a trouble making bully.
He is just out of prison for beating someone to a pulp.
Throw away the key Nairn does not need the likes of him.

I am so amazed at the people around town who actually feel sory for this guy????
All I hear is it was so out of character; he is such a nice guy???
Is this not the same guy who is just out of Jail for almost beating a man to death the same man who beat up the guy from the jewellers and broke his arm.
The same guy who most people are s..t scared of because he is so unpredictable??
Yes his mother and father were nice people as are the rest of his family, and I do feel sorry for the rest of them, but it is time Rudi learns that we do not need his mad lawlessness.
So time for him to cool off in prison and come out when he is to old to terrorise.

Jake – you are obviously someone with a personal feeling against this man and someone who knows a lot about his history.Do you know the full truth of the event?

How many people in Nairn are unpredictable…from my frequent visits, I would say “quite a few” – could you possibly be one of them.

You are the first to attack a sinner.

    From the good book

“So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her”

    John 8:7

I don’t care much for taking into account family history or for that matter religion into this.

If he did it. If he is unsafe to the people around him then something must be done in accordance with Scottish law. I agree fully that if what has been said is true this man should be behind bars.
