Cinema of Dreams gets new website
Just to let you all know that Cinema of Dreams is moving to it’s own domain: CinemaOfDreams.co.uk.
I registered the domain and offered to rebuild the Spanglefish site on it, without charge, and Tilda and Marc have taken me up on this.
I already copied the original spanglefish site to the domain after their agreement, and this week I’ve been setting up user forums, which should be open soon.
In the meantime, I’ll be talking to them about getting a new design implemented – nothing fancy at the moment, but something easier to manage and simple for users to use – simply put, the spanglefish code is not nice to work with.
Anyway, just a quiet heads up that the project is still moving onwards.

A question for FATS (Friends around Tidla Swinton)
I am sure under the hood the new website has got some smart code rather than that free and easy to use Spanglefish – but just wonder when we might see a content update?
Steve (The Doc) alluded some time back in the Gurn to the new site and all that it might bring. My deskchair is sat ready for the first film, just need some detail!
To be honest, the current site only has the Spanglefish code – I’m just wait for some images so I can implement some form of redevelopment.
If you want to be really pioneering, there’s a forum only just built that isn’t yet linked to. A couple of people have joined already, and you’re welcome to as well though be warned it’s quiet because it’s not ready!
Just add /forum/ to the domain name.
